# Text block streaming Block reveal text streaming effect Inspired by [This Tweet](https://x.com/tvnxty/status/2095601307444728212). Source: https://github.com/Eriskii/text-block-streaming Type up to 600 characters and watch text stream in as abstract blocks before resolving into letters. This simulates the visual cadence of an LLM stream; it does not call a model or send text anywhere. - Block mode uses authored square bodies, stems, and rounded corners, then sharply reveals the letter. - Pixel mode resolves through a grid of tiles. Soft mode morphs the silhouette into the letter. - Stream speed: 3–40 characters per second. - Effect speed: 0.20–2.40 seconds per character. - Decode variation: ±0–2 seconds per character, with a 0.05-second minimum. Variation is stable while scrubbing. - Optional color flash before a block becomes a letter. - Sans, serif, and monospace fonts; five ink colors; light and dark canvas. - Cmd/Ctrl+Enter restarts the stream. Space toggles playback outside controls. - Settings persist in this browser. Reduced-motion preferences disable initial autoplay.
